Back To School

Heading back to school in August to further my education. Focusing more on interactive media design & B.S. in Graphic Design.

New Social Media Website in progress

Currently in the early phase of incorporating  and updating a website for Mary Knackstedt/Mary K Interiors - Harrisburg, PA / NYC.

The first design layout was submitted July 26 in the morning. The goal of this first layout is to provide the client with a overall feel of how their site will look and operate.

The next phase will be to add more functionality into the social media elements.

Client Update: Currently revisiting the design and giving it a more contemporary feel.

The need for independent artists/designers is growing in this slow economy. More people seem to look for a reliable freelance artist when they are interested in starting up their own business. They usually ask for a logo, business card, signage, printed materials and most importantly a web presence. The best advertising for a person starting up his business is through social networking sites {WWW} facebook, youtube, myspace, twitter and many others to choose from. (*NOTE) All of the social websites are free to set up a account. This is the best way to advertise and spread the word for free.

Why use a freelance artist?

Well, most of the answers I hear from previous clients "I don't want to pay the agency fees or deal with high-pressure-sales-people."
